Our Emma turned 8 recently and she had a fun birthday. First, she went to a friend's birthday party and she got to ride a roller coaster and eat pizza. In the afternoon, we all went over to the pool because it's a family tradition to swim on the last day of the pool season. This is the first year that Emma has been able to go down the slide by herself. After changing into dry clothes, Emma chose Hometown Buffet for our dinner destination, followed by presents and ice cream cake. It's hard to believe that Emma is 8 already. She has such a sparkly smile and is a friendly girl. I think we'll keep her.
