The Tolleys Come to Town
We've had a great time visiting with Mom and Dad this past week. Since Halle is in school until noon and the big kids until 3:40, we spent a lot of time not doing a whole lot. Mom helped me clean the ceiling in the kitchen and it made a big difference in there. She also got the kids to work washing the windows. It was great. The weather was nice the whole week so we spent one day at the farm park. (Actually, we dropped Dad off at Golf Galaxy first.) We walked through the gardens and fed the animals. Mom even took us on a hayride.
Dad read a book to Spencer. Dad has forgotten the trick to reading a book to a child. You're supposed to look at the pictures and summarize the story. Dad read every work of the Nemo book, which has never been done in this household before.
Friday night, the zoo had a special sunset safari so the zoo was open late. By the time we got there, I think the animals had all gone to bed but we got some free ice cream and free carousel and train rides. Mom told the kids scary stories on their train ride in the dark. As you can see in the picture, Caleb is almost as tall as Mom.
Emma had a softball game early Saturday morning. She was able to make an out at third base.
Saturday afternoon, we went to the Basketball Experience and college basketball Hall of Fame. Mom made 10 baskets in a row, Dad tried some free throws and Spencer compared his feet to Shaq's.

Grandma Lucie and Grandpa Tom came to see us on Sunday. We had lots of fun visiting with them. We can't wait for everyone to come see us again.
