In order to check another item off of our summer to-do list, we went to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. It's a rather small museum but we still managed to get in trouble, like always. We all picked out our favorite pieces and enjoyed the air-conditioning during this brutal heat wave/drought.
The Crying Giant:
Since we were right next to the Nelson-Atkins Museum, I drove over there but the kids were all done with museums for the day. I persuaded the little kids to get out of the car so I could take a few pictures before we went back home.
