Washing the Car

We went to the pool the other day and right as we were checking in, we heard thunder. This means that everyone has to get out of the water for 15 minutes. Plus, there was a lightning sighting, which means an extra 15 minutes. The kids were very upset that they couldn't swim so we decided to wait until the time limit had expired and see if we could get in the water. After almost 30 minutes of waiting, we heard more thunder and so we decided to go home and wash the car instead.

It started to sprinkle on the way home and by the time I got everything ready, it was pouring rain. The kids washed the car anyway - no rinsing required! It was a lot of fun and the neighbors have confirmed that we are indeed crazy.
