A sprinkling of powdered sugar for snow and, Voila!
The finished masterpiece.
After construction was completed, the kids were all bathed and then we began our Christmas Eve program. The Grinch was recited, the Nativity was popped up and finally, the part the kids were all waiting for. The opening of one, and only one, present. Then, it was off to bed for all.Tragedy was barely averted late Christmas Eve. Santa was reaching behind the tree to retrieve a present went the whole tree tipped over into the window. He frantically scooted under the tree to try to fit it back into the base without knocking the whole thing onto the floor. Despite getting his beard tangled up in the tree limbs, he was successful. After setting the star back up straight on the top of the tree, no one was the wiser. Whew!

Did you make the gingerbread homemade?
Nope. I bought a kit from Sam's. Everything's included so all I did was open the package. That's the way to go.
