Wacky Weather

This is what our yard looked like last Saturday. We got 4 inches of snow, the most that we've had all winter. The neighbor kids came over and everyone slid down the little hill in our front yard. The funniest was Spencer. He had a great time sqealing as he slid down over and over again.

Caleb asked on Monday if it was going to be a snow day from school. By that time, the roads were clear and some of the snow had already melted. Sorry Caleb, you still have to go to school.

By the end of the week, the weather was great. It was 81° on Thurday so I put the kids to work cleaning off the salt and grime from the car.

We have a little redbud tree in our front yard that the kids love to play in. It has a rope hanging from one of the branches. Halle likes to put a stick in the rope and make herself a swing.

Our grass is turning green and the first daffodil opened today. Too bad that the weather is supposed to be in the 30's this week.
