Caitlyn: There's a banging on my wall.
Me: Go look outside and see if anyone is out there.
Caitlyn (returning): No one is there.
Me: Maybe it's a ghost.
Caitlyn: Mom!
Caitlyn: Emma, come in my room!
Emma: What?
Caitlyn: Listen. There's a ghost in my wall.
Spencer: Screams and refuses to re-enter her room.
Caitlyn: Listen. There it is again.
So, I go outside and guess what I see?
Mr. Woodpecker is attempting to build a new home inside of our home. No, our casa is not su casa. So, we've got a big hole two stories up where we can't repair it ourselves. When we first moved in, there was a family of birds inside that same wall and they would all chirp very early in the morning. We've since paid to get the siding replaced and the house repainted. Stupid woodpecker.
